Real Time monitoring

Once you’ve registered your BikeTrac unit you have total control. You can manage your device settings, notifications, view journeys and more. Our Secure Operations Centre (SOC) actively monitor your device 24/7 and will contact you should the unthinkable happen.

Recognised by insurers

We are a Thatcham S7 accredited tracking product. This means that our products have been independently tested by Thatcham, who are funded by the insurers and so our accredited product is recognised by the insurance industry and may attract a premium discount of between 5% - 15%.

Installation

All our team are trained and authorised by BikeTrac to ensure that your unit is installed in the most covert location possible, giving the best levels of protection and adhering to Thatcham’s high security standards - it's essential.

Theft response team

In cooperation with Securitas, BikeTrac is able to offer a 'Response Service', in the event of Police being unable to attend a theft in good time. This nationwide service enables an SIA accredited operative to visit the location and secure the stolen machine.

GPS and RF Technology

GPS allows us to locate down to 3 – 5 metres in real time. RF (Radio Frequency) allows us to locate down to 1 metre if hidden in garages / containers which is precise enough to gain search warrants.

How does BikeTrac work?

While BikeTrac is primarily a security tracking device, there are many additional features and functions that you will have access to via our website, or the app which is available on Android & iOS.

Notifications and Alerts

Once you have a subscription you will have access to a secure web portal along with an Apple or Android App. From here you will be able to see in real time the location of your vehicle and view all your journeys. These are downloadable in a GPX format “Route” or “Track log” via web access (not available in the app). In addition, you will be able to control all the following alerts;

Low External Battery

Manage your vehicle battery - You will be able to monitor your asset battery, should it drop you will receive an alert. The threshold can be set by the user between 11v. up to 12.4v to accommodate lithium batteries.

Movement Alert

This is triggered if the asset is moved for a short duration without the ignition being turned on.

Bike Over

Should your bike be knocked over with the ignition off, we'll let you know.

Low Internal Battery

This relates to the tracking device internal battery and will only be seen if we have lost external charge. It will be represented on the app as a percentage of battery life left.

Geo-Fence

A GPS fence is a virtual perimeter set around the asset which allows for movement with an alert if moved from the area without the ignition being turned ON.

Bike Down

If the bike goes over with ignition on, or if you are involved in an accident an alert will be sent with a Google link to the recipient of your choice either email or text. This is triggered should the bike go over 70 degrees and lay there for longer than 45 seconds without the ignition being turned off and back on again.
